Garganvillar

Garganvillar is a small commune in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitanie region in southern France.
This fortified town (in 1367) has 674 inhabitants (called the Garganvillarais), it is located 60 km north-west of Toulouse and 30 km west of Montauban.

Moissac

Moissac is a french commune located in the Tarn-et-Garonne department. It is part of the district of Castelsarrasin in the Occitanie region.
Its 12.408 inhabitants are called the Moissagais and Moissagaises.
Moissac like 184 other towns is labelled "Villes et Pays d'Art et d'Histoire". It has an heritage department that enhances and promotes architecture and heritage.

You can visit its abbey church, listed as a World Heritage Site and its abbey founded in the 7th century. It is a major stopover on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela.
You can also stroll on the promenade along the Tarn river, between the Napoléon bridge, the Moissac mill, and the Uvarium where you can go to have invigorating cures based on grape juice.
Moissac is the fruit-growing capital of Tarn-et-Garonne, thanks to its famous AOC Chasselas grapes, growing on the surrounding hillsides, the first fresh fruit to have an "Appellation d'Origine Controlée".

Montauban

Montauban is the capital of the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitanie region in southern France. It is the municipality with more inhabitants (58.826) in Tarn et Garonne and the sixth in Occitania.
Montauban has been classified "Ville d'art et d'histoire" (City of art and history) among the "Grands Sites de Midi-Pyrénées".
Montauban is situated 45 km from Toulouse, [Direct access from les deux mers motorway (A62)], 5 hours from Paris by TGV and 30 minutes driving from Blagnac international airport.

In July and August, daily guided tours of the city and museums (Ingres, Histoire naturelle), as well as themed tours, nighttime and unusual visits.
From September to June , city and museums guided tours at fixed dates.

The tourist office offers day tours for groups to visit the town and the region.

Castelsarrasin

Castelsarrasin has approximately 13,765 inhabitants, it is the second most populous commune in Tarn-et-Garonne after Montauban.
Castelsarrasin is situated on a major route linking Bordeaux and the Atlantic Ocean via Toulouse.
The A62 motorway bypasses the town centre to the north-east before Castelsarrasin exit (Artel industrial park).
Places of interest are Saint-Sauveur church, Saint-Jean church and Notre-Dame d'Alem chapel.

Castelsarrasin town centre, same as Agen, is surrounded by the Garonne River and the Canal Latéral à la Garonne which is part of the Canal des Deux Mers.

Toulouse

Toulouse is a commune in the South West of France with approximately 466,297 inhabitants called “Toulousains”. It is the capital of the Occitanie region, the Haute-Garonne department and the headquarters of Toulouse Métropole.
Toulouse is the fourth most populous city in France after Paris, Marseille and Lyon. It is famous for its good atmosphere, a great place to visit !

A city with typical South of France architecture, Toulouse is nicknamed the "pink city" because of the colour of the traditional local building material, the terracotta brick.
Nowadays, Toulouse is the centre of the European aerospace industry with the headquarters of Airbus.

Rugby union is the iconic sport of Toulouse, the Stade Toulousain club is the most successful in France and in Europe.

Cassoulet (a slow cooked stew of duck confit, haricot beans, pork) and Toulouse pork sausages are the emblematic dishes of Toulouse gastronomy.
